WhatsApp now lets you mute a conversation forever

WhatApp have just announced on social media that a new update will allow users to mute conversation forever with a new option called “Always” which replaces the 1 year option.
I try to avoid group chats as much as possible outside of family groups as they can get super busy depending on the amount of people so this should come as a welcome feature.
To do this yourself follow the below:
- Open WhatsApp on your phone.
- Go to the chat you want to mute, and tap on the group or contact name.
- Tap on the Mute option and select Always (or other options).
