IFA GPC — Panono 360 camera

The IFA GPC 2016 is currently underway in China and Hong Kong and one of the interesting products launched is the Panono 360 which is a 360 degrees camera ball. The device is similar to Nokia’s OZO which is also the same design but that bit more high end and aimed as movie producers. The Panono 360 however will only shoot still frame images from its 36 fixed focus lens.

It is aimed toward photographers and while it is not cheap at $1500 it price is still in keeping with high end SLR cameras that professional photographers would use. The device will ship with 16GB of storage and built in USB ports and through the use of an app available for iOS and Android photographers will be able to control the Panono 360 and even share to social networks such as Facebook.

It’s not for everyone, but I can see wedding photographers loving this, it could also even be attached to a drone to capture amazing 360 degree aerial photos.
