Ford Ireland issues S-Max/Galaxy recall which may cause accidents

Call your main dealer now

--

Ford Ireland has issued a recall for their S-Max and Galaxy cars over defective rear Toe Link bolts which may corrode over time. If this happens while driving at speed you are at an increased risk of having an accident as your steering ability will become reduced.

In a letter sent to customers this week the information on what to do if you are affected is detailed.

According to the letter you should contact your main dealers and provide them with information about your car. Indeed my own car is affected which is a year 2017 S-Max. Out of an abundance of safety if you have not received your letter and you have an S-Max or Galaxy I would probably give your Ford main dealer call anyway.
