Car Thing by Spotify is a new gadget for your car
But would you really need it
Spotify have recently created a new gadget which will be released soon seemingly on a limited run and currently in the US only for now.
Car Thing will only cost users $6.99 shipping as Spotify is waving the cost of the actual device, again at least for now.
Think of Car Thing as a little screen that has the Spotify app installed on it and will be mounted to the vent in your car. It has a dial wheel for easily controlling your playlists and for navigating through your tunes.
But wait, its not available outside the US, this is true but in theory there is no reason why AddressPal should not work in this case. Even if you sign up, you must be a Spotify Premium customer and even then you are not guaranteed to get one due to demand.
To be honest I am not 100% sure how useful this would be for someone already running Android Auto in their car or with their phone already vent mounted as your phone really is the ultimate media device for your car.
